Repeat Pattern

To give the product a premium feel and make it sit comfortably in a Paperchase kind of environment I have tested using repeat patterns for the packaging. This is also used to strengthen the character on the tea towel as some of it will be obscure due to being folded. This pattern style will also help differentiate the 4 products with colour.

I created a basic pattern that revolved around Rugby

To create a repeat pattern the elements need to sit within a square with certain elements positioned at exactly the same place top/ bottom and left/ right.

If the elements aren't correctly aligned it results in parts being cut off:

When they are aligned correctly it is just a case of finding where space is appearing and filling it in

Working into the pattern results in a fluent and consistent pattern that can

This is how it could work as packaging
