After returning to where I left off from the Union Jack redesign brief I thought that this design could be a little more interesting.
To emphasise the fact that the lines were supposed to be overlapping I decided to add a small gradient to show that they were lying on top of one another and creating a mesh.
This also modernises the flag by making it look more digital.
The blue in the flag is no longer relevant if Scotland aren't involved. The problem with the green is that it looks too much like a Christmas flag. I decided to go with all red
The campaign behind the rebrand will be based around 'Stronger Together'- as the new flag is about community and reinforcing one another as represented by the lines of the flag overlapping and strengthening each other.
